Groundwork East

The Foundation has made grants of over £100,000 over the past 11 years to Groundwork East (formerly Groundwork Hertfordshire) towards their Green Team programme, which provides support, training and work experience to unemployed people on a full programme of real environmental projects over the course of 14 weeks. The skills the unemployed obtain and the qualifications they receive enable them to get jobs, particularly in the landscaping sector.
